The Memorial of Charles Mongan

Charles Mongan, minister, arrived in Maryland in 1773, went back to England in 1775 for ordination, and then became a military chaplain during the war. Seeks to recover his wife's inheritance. He was frustrated in his hopes of a clerical position in Canada.
