The conference is interested in proposals for papers, panels, workshops, and posters from people at all ranks whose work contributes to the themes of the conference.\u00a0 Potential topics include (but are not limited to):<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>visualization tools, theories, methodologies, and workflows to make sense of Big Data;<\/li>\n<li>digital approaches to textual studies;<\/li>\n<li>public digital humanities;<\/li>\n<li>digital accessibility;<\/li>\n<li>digital humanities pedagogy;<\/li>\n<li>preserving the digital humanities;<\/li>\n<li>digital gaming, critical play, game design, and gaming culture;<\/li>\n<li>creative coding and electronic literature;<\/li>\n<li>studies on uses and behaviors of Social media sites users;<\/li>\n<li>digital humanities technologies (e.g., mapping, text-mining);<\/li>\n<li>digital humanities project design\/management;<\/li>\n<li>institutional DH partnerships and project-based collaborations;<\/li>\n<li>community-based online media practices;<\/li>\n<li>digital representation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<div>We hope the scope and topical breadth of the conference will stimulate an interdisciplinary dialogue that crosses traditional professional barriers. We are particularly interested in international and underserved populations\u2019 perspectives on digital humanities and computer science.<\/div>\n<h3>Submission Guidelines<\/h3>\n<p dir=\"ltr\"><strong>Applicants should submit a title and 200-300 word abstract along with a brief biography or C.V. by 15 July 2018 via <a href=\"https:\/\/easychair.org\/cfp\/dhcs2018\">Easychair<\/a><\/strong>. Decisions will be made by early August. All presenters will have their registration fee for the conference waived.
