That by a Bill of Confiscation which passed
in the American States they were deprived 
of said Store House and Granary And 
that the Sole reason for said Deprivation 
was because they considered the Store House
& Granary were British Subjects

Audit Office (AO) 12/9 is a bound volume of collated material submitted to the Loyalist Claims Commission. It contains memorials and evidence collected from Maryland Loyalist refugees in London and Glasgow between 1789 and 1790. The volume lists the claims of 6 Loyalist commercial partnerships and merchant enterprises, many of the claimants non-resident in America, with evidence attesting to the validity of each claim.
