Jane Bell and Daughter

Jane Bell (b.1757) freed herself and left enslavement in Maryland in 1781. She departed New York City for Port Roseway [Shelburne], Nova Scotia on 31 July 1783 with Edmond Bell (possibly her husband) and an unnamed daughter.
