out from time to time. He never has taken the Oaths to the Govt
but none of his Property has been Confiscated. He had other Property and
some Lots in Baltimore County ^Town and a Tract of between 4 & 500 Acres
near it—That also has not been Confiscated. –
Makes no Claim for Loss of Property.
            Claims for the Loss of his Offices.
Produces his Commn as Clerk and keeper of the records
of Baltimore County dated 4th March 1769 under the Hand &
Seal of Daniel Dulany Junr Esqr Secy of the Province.—
Also his Commn as clerk of Harford County dated
10th March 1774—
The Emoluments of the Office were between 6 & 700
Sterling per annum arising from Fees—
Deposition of Wm Gibson read to the Loss of ^the Office &
the emoluments thereof—
Certificates of the Justices of Baltimore County dated
1st of October 1784 to their belief that the Claimant wou’d have
been chosen again after the Declaration of Independance to the
Office he formerly held woud he have taken the Oaths read.
Certificate from Mr Robt Browne as to the Amount
of the Fees of his Office read—
Desires to add that the Property he still possesses
in Maryland is much smaller than what he held at the
commencement of the Troubles; as he was obliged to sell part
of it during the War and the remainder is very much diminished
in value.
