Brig Peggy Stewart _ Is certain Mr. Stewart’s burning her
was thro’ Compulsion

Robert Christie Esqr Sworn
Cannot speak particularly to Mr. Stewarts Property
He had a Farm near Annapolis called Mount Stewart but
he can’t give any particular account thereof.
There was a Brick Warehouse in Londontown
but whether Mr. Dick’s Property or the Clainants he is
Ignorant It was in goes Repair when he saw it.

Robert Alexander Esq. __ Sworn
Says Mr. Stewart carried on Business of Annapolis
In Company with his father in Law Mr. Dick, and they were
Principal Merchants there.
Knows Mr. Stewart had a Place within 6 or 8
Miles of Annapolis, and also lands on the Eastern Shore
cant speak particularly to the Value.
Says the Circumstance of the burning the Peggy
Stewart was very notorious _ It was commonly reported
that a Paper was produced to him which he was forced to
            Sign_
The Claimant again __ Sworn
Is questioned as to the Circumstance of the
Gift of the Warehouse by his Father in Law _ and confirms
what he said Yesterday respecting it.
Is questioned as to whether the Partnership between
him and Mr. Dick was ever dissolved _ Says that he
believes Mr. Dick did dissolve the Partnership after he
(Mr. Stewart) left the Country.
