Valuable to Claimant from its Adjacency to his other
Property.
Lots in Annapolis
Says he dont Know enough of this Property to fix a
value upon it.
Iron Works
Has a General Knowledge of this Property, the value
of Iron Works depend upon the Management some
being the - owners in debt, believe these were as well
managed as any dont Know the Profit they Yeilded
but thinks they were profitable, believes the Claimant
had all the property stated in his Memorial which
he assisted him in framing.
Believes the whole has been entirely lost to the
family in Consequence of Claimants attachment
to this Country.
Believes if the property had been considered to
belong to the Claimants Father it would not have
Been confiscated.
Uriah Forrest Sworn
Has Known Claimant about 15 Months only,
left America in July 1783 resided in Maryland.
says Claimant had considerable property he
has lost a very considerable Quantity of it by
his Attachment to this Country, it has been all
Confiscated.
Says he was a Member of the Assembly of Maryland
that he ordered the Clerk to Copy the Account of the
Sales of Claimants property under the Confiscation
Act, says the amount produced is that Copy.
