Iron Works at Baltimore
The Titles and plats of these Lands belonging to the
Works were often before him values a 10.th Share of
the Works from 7 to £10,000 Sterling.
Frederick County
Dont know all the Lands but heard M.r Dulany
once refuse £1400 Currency for 200 Acres of it.
Hunting Ridge
Knew this Property the Land was good and there
was some Cultivation, it was near the Town -
cant tell the Quantity nor what the value of it
was.
Dont know the Lands in Montgomery County.
Has understood the whole of Claimants property is
Confiscated and sold.
Has heard that M.r Tasker the former possessor of
Hunting Ridge valued it at £5 Currency an Acre.
James Brooks Sworn
Has Known Claimant about 10 years remembers
him in Maryland in 1774 took part decidedly
with Government on the break out of the
Troubles, believes he became obnoxious thereby
and his Estate has been confiscated in consequence
Knows great part of his Property but cant speak
to the value of any particular part of it.
Says he was Witness to M.rs Taskers Will and left
Claimant residuary Legatee, she left Lands in
Annapolis cant speak to the particular Quantity
or value.
