Certificate dated 1.st March 1785 from W.m Eddis to the
Claimant’s Loyalty and his Associating to repel the
Hostile Attacks of the Rebels, was in the Suffolk
Militia during the War and produces Commission
signed by the Duke of Grafton dated 25.th May 1779.
Says his Father who is now 64 Years of Age has
remained in the country throughout the whole
War and still continues in Maryland. He has
been treble taxed but he believes has been uniformly
loyal in his Principles and has never taken any
Oaths to the Americans.

Says he has no Title Deeds he left all of them in
America
Frederick County
As to 2023 Acres called Taskers Chance.
Says he derives his Title to these Lands by deed of
Gift from his Father Daniel Dulany, he is hereafter
to produce the Deed - thinks it was about 1771 or 1772
that the Deed was dated.
As to 3200 ¾ Acres called Dulany’s Lot Spring Garden and Albins
Choice
The Title to these is the same as to the above.
He says he is very little acquainted with his own-
Property but he rather thinks they were in a
State of good Cultivation.
He values the 5223 ¾ Acres at £6 Sterl.g an Acre
Amounting to ^31342 10. he does not give this
