Collector must have been upwards of £200 per Annum
He was a thorough Loyalist and ill used on acct
of his Loyalty- He wod never comply with any Requisitns
of the Americans—

Mr John Lloyd—a Quaker examined on his Affirmation
Knew the Claimant to be a Loyalist
He was Collector of the Customs at North
Potowmack the Salary he understood was £60 per
Annum—Does not know the other Emoluments—
He was Agent to the House of Hanbury & Co
was employed to Collect Debts and other Business
which Situation must have been worth to him
on an Average more than £200 pr Annum
