            Claimant is a Single Man.
                        Living
            States that the Taxables were worth upon an Average
of four years 228 £ per annum Sterling - The Glebe £30 per Ann
and the Surplice fees £8 per annum
            He was Chaplain to the Assembly with a Salary of £30
per ann - this was not a permancey but chosen by the assembly
every year
            Produces his Appointment to the Rectory of Allhallows
from Govr Sharp dated 29th October 1765

George Chalmers Esqr Sworn
            Claimant was well known to him before and at
the Commencemt of the Troubles always understood him to be a
very Loyal Man  Thinks Claimants Living might have been worth
about £200 Sterling pr Annum exclusive of his being Chaplain to
the assembly Says Claimant is a very worthy man and bears
an exceeding good Character

Robt Christie Esqr Sworn
            Knew Claimt many years in Maryland Says he
dont know a better Man than Mr Love and he is sure he was very
Loyal - Mr Christie Says he always understood Claimants Living
was worth £200 Sterling per Annum he was Chaplain to the
Assembly for which he had a small Allowance
