“          Gibson & Co have made a Demand for their Claim
“and threatened to sue the proprietors of the Work here
“Charles Graham can have no Demand, his Accots
“having been settled before his Death.
I dont recollect having ever heard the Names
“of the other Claimants, but suppose them all
“private Debts of Lee, Russell or Buchanan
“as the Agents regularly paid all the Debts
“of the Company—

“The Declaration of Robert Alexander formerly
“of Maryland now of Craven Street in the City
“of Westminster Great Britain.
“Robert Alexander Saith that he hath examined
“the Claims made in Maryland against the
“property confiscated and sold of the Notting
“ham Company, and agreeable to the reqt
“of Mr Ewer he will give all the Information
“within his Memory of the Transactions of the
“Company their Agents and Clerks as connected
“with the Subject which probably gave rise
“to the present Claim, in doing this, Robert
“Alexander begs leave to state the Causes which
“gave him the full information herein related
“in 1767 or 1768 he was retained as Council and
“advised with in all matters of the Company
“& being nearly related by Marriage to Mr
