The Perquisites were considerable & arose from Marraiges
Funerals and Christnings - Thinks they produced 100£
Currency per Ann.
            Produces his appointment by Sir Rt Eden
            owes nothing- Did owe somthing, but has paid
it.

Revd Jno Montgomry  Sworn
His Certificate is read which he says is true
            Says Mr Paterson was imprisoned once on
Accot of his Loyalty for which he^was distinguished.
            Knows he had a Family of Negroes who
who were very likely.
            His House was very decently furnished, can’t
pretend to say whether it was worth £200 Sterling
but should think it was- he had a good deal
of Plate.
            Says he sd think £300 Sterling was the
Extent of his Living. The Idea he has upon his
mind is that it was about £400 Currency per ann.

The Claimant again
Says his Plate is included in his Furniture,
he knows not what is become of it or his Furnitr
