What Money was received by Mr Flanagan was applied in Payment
of the several Expences arising from the Law Suits and Disputes
relative to the Property – Mr Flanagan never rendered him any
regular account of the sums he had paid and received
As to the value,
Mr Taafe says he values the Property according to the
Quantity of Gold and Silver for which the several Lots were
let—estimating the Gold at £4 per Oz & the Silver at 5S per Oz—
At this rate of valuation he estimates the Lots as follows vizt
No 11—at per Annum £158—Sterlg ------------------  £3160—
No 40 & 41 ------------ 389,,19 ---------------------------- 7799—
No 38 valued as No 11 -------------------------------------- 3160—
                                                                                        £14,119,,--
The Claimant is asked what he would have sold the Property
for before the War.—
Mr Taafe says that for the whole of the Property he believes
he could have got £30,000 provided he could have made a
sufficient Title to the same but his son was not then
of Age—What he would have taken he cant pretend to say—
but he was told by People from the Country that it was
worth this sum
