in with his Memorial for Temporary Support.

Property
N. 1 As to a Parcel of Land near Baltimore Town on Fells
Point with Houses, a Rope Walk and other Buildings
thereon.
Produces Copy of Will of Edward Fell dated 26 April 1766
properly executed whereby (inter alia) he directs and
authorizes as his Wife Ann to grant Leases of Lots in a
Town laid out on Fells Prospect the Rents to be had to be paid to
his Son.
Lease dated 10th August 1771 from James and Ann
Giles (extrix of Edwd Fell / to the Claimant from 17 October
1770 for 99 Years of a Lot of Ground in Baltimore County
near the town on Fells Point lately laid out by John
Bond for Edward Fell in lots bounded as therein mentioned
containing 1/4 of an Acre, at the Rent of 9 Sterling per
Annum and Renewable for ever at a fine of 9.
He built one dwelling House ^ three warehouses in 1771 & made a Ropewalk at ye expense of 800 Sterlg. He values the  Rope walk at 600
Sterling thinking it would have sold for so much in
1774 or 1775 never had any actual offer for it.
Says there was more than a Quarter of an Acre there
being more Land contained within the metes and bounds
of the Land granted by the Lease than that Quantity,
altho that is mentioned as The Quantity in the printed
form of the Lease.
