them he possibly might after a time join them this he says
was said in order to get out of Prison. When he got
home remained about three Weeks quiet, after which
was oblidged to abscond, made his Escape to New York
in Sepr 1777 never took any Active part but came
over to England in 1778. Went over to Ireland and was
there two years, being Sick, enlisted in Lord Harrings
Regement about August 1782 and Continued in it 9
Months and was then discharged, since applied to
Government and obtained 20 P Anm from the Treasury
which he has since subsisted upon.
The Allowance commenced from January 1783
produces his discharge dated 8th May 1783.
Certificate of Sir Robert Eden dated 15th March
1783 that was considered as a Loyalist in Mary
Land.

Cole’s Addition
Says he was possessed of a plantation called Coles
Addition, Says in 1776 he gave his Writings to to Owen
Allen and Abraham Windsor Enson, giving up to them all
his property there in Case he died in the Cause. 
Says he purchased this Plantation in 1772 and gave
400 Sterling for it to one John Moore, there was 67
Acres in the patent but on Admeasurement it turned
out to be 167 Acres. Affirms that he gave the Money
supposing it 67 acres and no more.
Says he paid down all but 14 which he paid
afterwards, says he built Houses and other Buildings
upon it, built the still House and dwelling House
the year afterwards Charged 300 for the House and
Buildings. he built the Still House first and his
