A Chantolo mask of Nahua origin. Used in Danza de los Coanegros (Dance of the Serpents or of the Black snakes). Place of origin is Mexico, Hidalgo, Huasteca. A small black mask of a man's face with a goatee, a mustache, and round eyeholes.
