The Memorial of Henry Stevenson
Henry Stevenson (1721-1814), physician, was born in Ireland and went to Maryland in 1752. He was a vocal opponent of the Patriot cause. His memorial details his efforts to provide information to Lord Howe, and was known for supporting fellow Loyalists in exile.
Some themes his Loyalist Claim Commission memorial suggest include confiscation, military service, and persecution.
