The Memorial of Susannah Marshall
Susannah Marshall, tavern keeper, arrived in Baltimore in 1774 with her husband and children. She supported the British efforts by providing supplies until she ran out of resources. She loaded what she had left into a schooner to head to the West Indies where her husband was, but her cargo was seized and taken to St. Augustine.
Some themes her Loyalist Claim Commission memorial suggest include family experience, migration, and military service.
