The Memorial of Robert Christie

Robert Christie, merchant and high sheriff, left Maryland in December 1776 and served in the army in the West Indies before returning to England in 1779. 

Some themes his Loyalist Claim Commission memorial suggest include military service, office-holding, and persecution.
